Avena Sativa " Wild Oats " Traditionally avena sativa has been used for insomnia, nervous exhaustion and has been known as an energizing nutrient. More recently oats have been used to support normal cholesterol levels and as an aphrodisiac. Some believe that the effects are do to Avena Sativa aiding release of bound testosterone in the body.
